Historical testimony confirms that, already in the Middle Ages, the hills of the Marca Trevigiana were naturally suited for the production of excellent white wine, sought after for "export to Venice, into Germany and even to the Polish Court" as written in 1606. In the second half of the 19th century, following the disastrous epidemic of phylloxera and downy milden in Europe, Glera imposed itself over the other grape varieties cultivated here.
In 1920, grandfather Abele purchased a vineyard from Conte Balbi Valier that enjoyed the exposure of a natural amphitheatre. Lovely and filled with promise, a piece of land where one could begin again. Together with his son Adriano, Abele established a bond that has always held firm: Prosecco of Casa Adami.
