The Krafuss Pinot Noir is part of the prestigious "masterpieces" line of the Lageder winery. With this exuberant wine it is shown how this vine is very well integrated in this area of ??Trentino and it is also known how this winery has been able to identify the hill where the homonymous farm rises, an area of ??choice to produce this red wine. The special qualities of this wine are also enhanced by the biodynamic techniques used in this winery, where nature is totally respected. It therefore becomes a great ally in creating the right conditions for the vine to grow at its best.
The red "Krafuss" is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from vines with an average age of about 21 years, located at an altitude between 430 and 450 meters above sea level. The lands here are mainly rocky, clayey and calcareous. Once harvested, the grapes are softly pressed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks due to the action of indigenous yeasts, as well as malolactic fermentation. The aging lasts about 12 months and takes place in small French oak barrels of 225, 300 and 500 liters.
This Pinot presents in the glass with a ruby ??red color with garnet reflections. The red fruits, particularly the blackberry and raspberry, stand out at the nase, also accompanying pleasant spicy notes. In the mouth it is velvety and of medium structure.
It is ideal for pairing with cold cuts and other meat dishes.
