The Rain vineyard located in Penone where most of the grapes are harvested for making this wine has a geographical positioning that makes it perfectly suitable for the growth of excellent Riesling grapes. A decent height, a marked inclination of the ground of morainic origin and an orientation to south south-east, make this terroir perfect.
The Riesling Rain is part of the Compositions line by Alois Lageder, which collects labels of character, made with grapes from fine vineyards of the estate. The vinification takes place only in steel and highlights the elegant floral and fruity aromas of Riesling and its typical vein of freshness, which makes the sip particularly smooth. Furthermore, the experience and the biodynamic philosophy of this reality give each of its wines characteristics of extreme personality.
In the glass it has a straw yellow color with light green reflections. In the mouth it is slightly aromatic with marked floral notes and hints of fruit. An elegant, lively and dry wine. Excellent with hors d'oeuvres and fish dishes.
