The exploitation is in Champillon, a village situated 5 km from Epernay on the way to Reims. Champillon dominates the "Marne Valley" and offers one of the most typical and beautiful panoramas of the Champagne. The Autréau's family, an old family from Champillon: ancient documents certify its presence since 1670. This family is linked to the farming of the land and to the Champagne production as far back as we go. At the beginning of the 18th century the family took part in the great Champagne's adventure as soon as the famous Dom Pérignon played with the effervescence. As a matter of fact, the westerly winds could bring the noise of the cork thanks to the close proximity of the Abbey. That is why the members of the Autréau's family produce with passion since generations, typical balance and harmonious Champagne wines.
