Moscato d'Asti is undoubtedly the flagship wine of Cantina Bera, historical name of Piedmont whose origins date back to 1758 when Giovanni Battista Bera fell in love with these lands and bought them by founding the cellar of the same name.
In 1964 the belief that the road of cultivation as environmentally friendly as possible was a road to follow, convinced the Bera family to convert all its territories to organic cultivation.
The Moscato Bianco grapes, with which this wine is produced, are grown on a land originating from the decay of siliceous sandstones mixed with marl of marine sedimentation which give great minerality and freshness.
Forget the classic Moscato, that of Bera is a sparkling sweet white wine, very fragrant and easy to drink. A wine for desserts that will hardly tire despite the marked sweetness.
When there is a bottle of this wine to celebrate, it is essential.

Azienda Agricola Bera, the Bera family farm, is in Piedmont, in the Langhe area between Alba and Asti on the road from Barbaresco and Neive that climbs up towards Neviglie. Here, countryside life is tied to a tradition that knows no boundaries, and does not even spare the forest spaces where the white truffle of Alba born. The winemaking tradition goes back centuries in the Bera family. But only at the end of the 70s did they start producing wines to bottle and sell with their own label. Today, the farm is spread over an area of 30 hectares, 23 of which are vineyards that also extend into the nearby towns. From the time of Luigi Veronellis description to the present, some things have changed: the vineyards and the varieties of the wines have grown, and the winery has been modernized. Also, with the passing of the winery to Valter and Alida, a new generation has joined the family azienda: Umberto and Riccardo.
