Iarsera di Calafata is a pure Sangiovese produced by this Agricultural Social Cooperative, born from the desire of some friends to recover land destined for abandonment through the work of socially disadvantaged people.
In this reality, the social purpose is combined with that of making highly territorial wines in full respect of nature and its ecosystem, using a biodynamic approach to all stages of processing.
Lo Iarsera has a great personality, a wine to bite that expresses all the craftsmanship of the cellar. A fresh and elegant red to drink while reading a good book.

Its name comes from the master caulkers who, thanks to their knowledge, a rope and some pitch, could create safe and waterproof boats.
