Cascina degli Ulivi is much more than a simple farm, it is a community carried out through the mutual coexistence between people, animals and crops. A reality created by the free and revolutionary spirit of a great winemakers like Stefano Bellotti who left this land too early but whose work is carried on by his daughter Ilaria.
Founded in 1977, it begins its production with natural wines obtaining the Organic Certification and in 1984 the Biodynamic Certification, extending over 22 hectares of territory characterized by vineyards with an average age of 60 years on the Gavi hills in southern Piedmont.
For each wine the most suitable winemaking method is chosen for the characteristics of the grapes, no selected yeasts and no type of chemical enzyme are used.
Among its labels, the Etoile du Raisin 2007 occupies a very important place being a red son of the exceptional Cru di Mounbé. A wine made during an extraordinary vintage from Barbera grapes 85%, Dolcetto 10%, Ancellotta 5%.
