description
The Karst has always been a territory remembered for bad events related to the First World War, but it also represents a territory where viticulture finds an ideal climate to give high quality wines.
A proof of this production is the Castelvecchio winery, promoter of the enhancement of the indigenous vines of the area, through which it creates a very strong link with the identity of this region.
Passion, work and complete dedication to the vine are essential elements to be able to guarantee wines to remember.
Among the autochthonous vines of Friuli we find the Vitovska from which the homonymous wine takes its name.
Produced entirely in steel, it amazes for minerality, freshness and easy drinkability.
A white to add to the great wines of the North.
Giallo paglierino carico.
Sentori di miele, cera d'api ed erbe aromatiche come il timo.
Fine ed elegante. Piacevoli note minerali e grande sapidità.
Vino bianco adatto come aperitivo. Per la sua freschezza si abbina piacevolmente anche ad antipasti e crudité di pesce.

The Carso region is a territory sometimes known only for the sad and bloody historical events of the First World War. However, it has always been a territory dedicated to the cultivation of vineyards, olives and first fruits of the seasons due to the climate peculiarities of this plateau. Testimony to this natural richness is the Villa Veneta Della Torre Hohenlohe, built in the late 1700s. This historical Villa was used for holiday and entertainment and it is located in a beautiful agricultural propriety. In fact, the Villa Veneta system associated the practical agricultural function with the leisure and recreation function. In historical maps you can notice the presence of gardens, olive trees and vineyards. The Villa was owned by the Della Torre Hofer Valsassina dynasty until 1849, then passed to the family of the Hohenlohe Waldenburg princes. Since the 80s the Terraneo Family followed, with far-sightedness and passion, this beautiful project of farming-agricultural Villa. They are enhancing the Carso territory by producing wines of great character and oil.
