Les Hauts de Caillevel Castle is a 23 hectare vineyard, located in Pomport, in the south of Bergerac, in the Dordogne with the vineyards gently sloping down in front of the cliff. We are in the presence of organic agriculture in the most profound respect for nature and man. All the vines are treated with natural products such as sulfur and copper. This Chateau Les Hauts De Caillevel on the nose exudes aromas of red fruit, spices and a light vanilla. In the mouth the attack is lively with spices, very ripe fruit aromas (black currant) and a finish that turns towards licorice. It goes well with any type of red meat and medium-aged cheeses.

Château Les hauts de Caillevel is a 23-hectare vineyard located in Pomport, in the south of Bergerac, in the Dordogne.
Caillevel comes from the word pebble, and refers to the rock on which the estate is located. The property is all in one piece and offers visitors a magnificent view of the vineyard and the Sigoulès hills.
Perched at the end of the Pomport plateau, the estate slopes gently down before the cliff. This cliff is hidden in the forest that borders the Gardonette, such a precious watercourse that provides us with the essential mist to make the Monbazillac.
