Details of wine

The Champagne Largillier Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut 2009 comes from the work of a talented boy named Jerome Coessens who, being part of the Recoltant Manipulant category, concentrates all his work in the vineyard in full respect of biodiversity. It uses only vines of at least 35 years of age that pose on a ground comparable to Chablis. His productions are all Blanc de Noirs of great personality and elegance.
Blanc de Noirs L'Argillier from Coessens obtained from 100% Pinot Noir, is produced by the Champenoise method with aging on the lees for at least 36 months. An intense and expressive Champagne with a straw yellow color and fine perlage. Citrus and floral notes on the nose, Enveloping and fragrant taste, with good minerality. To be enjoyed throughout the meal or with fish dishes.

My family has owned vineyards in Ville-sur-Arce for 5 generations so it was quite natural that I should take over the family business. In 2006 I decided to start my own champagne house : Champagne Coessens. After 7 years working as vineyard manager for a large champagne house, creating my own range of champagnes was the realisation and embodiment of one of my profound aspirations.
