Details of wine

The winemakers of this Sardinian winery like to call themselves small artisans (max 45,000 bottles produced). They firmly believe that every wine has its own heart and personality, so much so as to reject the DOC designation considered too dispersive and non-qualifying. Therefore from the maximum respect of the vines in the field to the pressing in the cellar where the spontaneous fermentation according to nature derives this splendid Renosu red wine using Cannonau, Monica and Pascale grapes. Chemical elements are absolutely not added and time is allowed to bring out the qualities of healthy grapes first with aging in cement and then in the bottle. No filtrations or clarifications are practiced. The result is a red wine with a fruity, spicy nose and a voluminous, sweet, mineral and spicy taste. Excellent with traditional meat dishes of the Sardinia region.

Smell

Esprime un profilo olfattivo struggente per originalità e bellezza mediterranea. Note floreali e fruttate di violetta passita, di prugna, di ciliegia, di visciola sono affiancate da sentori salmastri di liquirizia, di origano, di timo.

Taste

In bocca è slanciato, appagante, caratterizzato da una beva non comune. Equilibrato da una traccia di chiara sapidità sa essere anche morbido e carezzevole prima di una chiusura di grande persistenza e personalità.

Pairings

A tutto pasto, il "Renosu" di Dettori è vino rosso ideale per accompagnare secondi piatti di carne. Ottimo con un arrosto di maiale.
