Ottimo spessore, datogli da un sorso cremoso, che scorre al palato con un gusto sapido davvero ben equilibrato. Chiude con un finale persistente.
Ottimo abbinato ai primi piatti a base di pesce saporito, come gli spaghetti ai ricci di mare. E' da provare anche con i secondi i a base di maiale, anche leggermente affumicato.

Gut Avelsbach, a former Prussian state domain, belongs since 2016 to the DRK-Sozialwerk Bernkastel-Wittlich gGmbH, a recognized laboratory for disabled people in Bernkastel-Kues. In the best locations in Trier, the Avelsbach estate includes 25 hectares of vineyards, including Trierer Deutschherrenberg, Trierer Str. Maximiner Kreuzberg, Avelsbacher Hammerstein. In addition to the Riesling Auxerrios vine, Gewürzaminer, Pinot Noir and Regent are grown. The Rotliegender sand shale gives the wines their distinctive character and forms the basis for lean and pleasant wines that simply delight every wine lover.
