description
Located in the heart of the village of Chorey-lès-Beaune in the Côte-d'Or, the Domaine Arnoux Père et Fils has handed down the ancient tradition of wine from generation to generation.
A story that began with René, Pascal's grandfather, who at the helm of the Domaine since 2008 has managed to blend tradition and new technologies to protect the vineyard and offer high quality wines.
All the processes are carried out in the vineyard and during the harvest, carried out rigorously by hand, fifty people from different regions come to share this moment of celebration.
The management and protection of the vines allows you to bring healthy grapes to the best level of maturity.
From these grapes comes Savigny Les Beaune 1er cru Vergelesses, made in very few bottles from ancient Pinot Noir vineyards.
An intense red aged in oak barrels, where the roundness and finesse amplify the excellent sensations on the palate confirming this Domaine as a producer of magnificent wines

CELLAR
Name: Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux
Start-up year: 1858
Cultivated hectares: 14
Address: Vosne-Romanée (France)
Web Site: www.arnoux-lachaux.com
The property was founded in 1858, now Florence (no Arnoux) and Pascal Lachaux are the fifth generation to handle this estate. It was something of a fatal accident that brought Pascal to Vosne as he worked as a pharmacist and, on the road to starting a new job, agreed to help his father in harvest right. He never left. Florence and Pascal have steadily invested over the years in the Domaine, building new cuisines, renovating the cellar and recently building an elegant tasting room next to the Florence office. They also invested in vineyards, building the Domaine at fourteen acres today, with the purchase of Latricières Chambertin, which is their most recent addition to the wineries. Pascal also buys grapes and makes a négociant wine under the name Maison Pascal Lachaux. Since 2008 the name Domaine has changed to Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux. The future seems safe with three sons of Lachaux, the oldest of whom Charles has just completed his BEN of oenology in Beaune and is going to Oregon and South Africa to get a precious winemaking experience, far from home.
