Domaine Bertagna is one of the most renowned wineries in Burgundy, due to the variety of appellations it can include within its production.
We are talking about a Domaine that places work in the vineyard at the center of its philosophy, carried out without the use of pesticides, on soils of calcareous origin which with their diversity are able to guarantee labels in which the concept of terroir is enhanced.
The Clos Saint Denis Grand Cru 2015 is part of the masterpieces of this winery, a red obtained exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes grown organically, using indigenous yeasts and left to age for 16-18 months in oak barrels.
Tasting this wine means immersing yourself in its elegant and silky tannins, developed thanks to the characteristics of the wood of the Bertranges forest with which the barriques are made, being conquered by its power and freshness that can be perceived with every sip ... it means savoring for a few minutes to Burgundy in all its beauty.

Name: Domaine Bertagna Cultivated hectares: 17 Address: 16, rue du Vieux Château - Vougeot (France) Web Site: https://en.domainebertagna.com/
The Domaine Bertagna is located in Vougeot, in the Côte de Nuits. It has 17 hectares of vineyards, 16 of which are planted to Pinot Noir and 1 to Chardonnay. The production includes five Grand Cru wines, seven Premier Cru and two Villages in the production area which extends from Gevrey Chambertin in the north (Chambertin) to Aloxe-Corton in the south (Corton and Corton Charlemagne). In 1982 the Günther Reh family, originally from Moselle in Germany, bought the company from Claude Bertagna, who founded it around 1950.
Today it is managed by Eva Reh-Siddle; in the last decade the domaine has been modernized with technological investments and new vineyard plots have been acquired. The diversity and completeness of the appellations makes Domaine Bertagna one of the most renowned in the region. The domaine is located a few hundred metres from the famous Château du Clos de Vougeot and directly overlooks the vineyards of the Vougeot appellation.
