Details of wine
A Vouvray Domaine Careme obtained according to the ancestral method in which the wine is bottled before the end of its alcoholic fermentation. It is a sparkling cuvée with a complex citrus aroma mixed with subtle notes of fresh nougat. The taste is full-bodied and pleasant, a bottle for great occasions that binds in an excellent way with a menu based on fish.

CELLAR
Name: Domaine Carême
Cultivated hectares: 14
Address: Vouvray (France)
Domaine Carême is a small French production company, located in Vouvray, a municipality that is part of the Loire Valley. We are located in a wine-growing region that is particularly renowned for the production of white wines, and that, due to its extension, crosses different microclimates, ideal for the creation of types whose styles are substantially different on the palate. In particular, in Vouvray, a prominent role is played by one vine above all, the chenin blanc. Among the different production realities of the area that delight in declining it, stands out the Domaine Carême, at the head of which we find Vincent, a young man who represents the face of the new style of wines created here, once identified as low-level products, to be poured at low cost especially in the export market. Since the beginning of his wine-growing adventure, Vincent has in fact felt a strong bond with the rural world of wine, where a natural approach is essential to honour the terroir of origin. Precisely for this reason, the winery is certified as organic, to complete a path that aims to protect the environment and the nature surrounding the vineyards.
