description
Domaine des Homs is located within the Minervois area, an area with a wine vocation since Roman times.
At the head of the company we find Jean-Marc de Crozals who represents the last generation of this family since 1865 at the head of the Domaine and always looking for the perfect harmony between vine, soil and environment.
The 22 hectares on which the vines extend are cultivated in a biological way, with particular attention to the influence that the lunar cycles have on each stage of grape processing.
The Chardonnay produced by Jean Marc is born in the heart of Minervois, on the splendid quaternary terraces of pebbles and clay, where the Mediterranean climate guarantees the best conditions for the ripening of the grapes.
Only when these are perfectly ripe are they harvested manually and fermented at a low temperature.
The result will be a white suitable for all occasions, with a subtle and delicate aroma, elegant and endowed with a surprising persistence.
A bottle to always keep in the cellar.
Giallo paglierino.
Sentori floreali e fruttati.
Sorso equilibrato e ricco di frutta matura, evidenziando una piacevole traccia fresco-sapida.
Molluschi e crostacei sono ideali per apprezzarne le qualità.

In the heart of the renowned Minervois wine producing terroir, the Domaine des Homs occupies the site of a roman farm where vines and olive trees were cultivated. The name derives from old elm trees which have now disappeared. The 20 hectare domaine has been owned by the de Crozals family for three generations, a well established family of Languedoc wine producers. Jean-Marc and his wife Anne both graduated at the Suze-La Rousse international wine university. They have brought their technical and commercial knowledge and experience to the domaine while maintaining family traditions and have built up, over the years, the reputation of the wines of the Domaine des Homs.
