The Domaine Haute Févrie is located in the heart of the Muscadet appellation 18 km from Nantes.
The vineyards located on the slopes of the Sèvre between Saint-Fiacre and Monniers grow in an ideal climate, creating a Muscadet strongly expression of the terroir.
Winemakers for four generations have always focused on sustainable cultivation through the total absence of pesticides, the low yield of the vineyards and the main processes carried out by hand.
In 2015, their commitment to an eco-sustainable environmental policy is strengthened by the Organic Certification that we will find on all their production from that date.
Muscadet sur Lie Le Domaine 2018 is made with the white Melon de Bourgogne grape, hand-picked from young vines and aged sur lie for 7 months.
A wine to drink immediately to savor all its freshness.

Name: Domaine La Haute Fevrie Cultivated hectares: 30 Winemaker name: Claude and Sébastien Branger Address: La Févrie - Maisdon sur Sevre (France) Web Site: http://www.lahautefevrie.com
The Domaine "la Haute ?Févrie" lies 18 km south-east of ?NANTES, right in the middle of the ?Muscadet Sèvre et Maine protected ?designation of origin. The estate vines grow on ?the hills overlooking the Sèvre, ?between Saint-Fiacre and Monnières. ?They enjoy optimum ripening ?conditions and the Muscadet they ?produce is highly expressive of the ?soil it grew on.
In our quality as wine growers and producers for four generations, we monitor and ?tend our vine to ensure that it produces the very best grapes. Nowadays, the ?estate covers 30 hectares of ?vineyards, all under the ?Muscadet Sèvre et Maine ?protected designation of origin.
The estate is broken into several plots, each with a different aspect and on ?different soil: siliceous clay or gravelly and shallow, all on metamorphic rock (gneiss, ?orthogneiss and amphibolites), resulting in a range of highly individual clos: Le Clos de la ?Févrie, Les Mauguitonnières, Les Gras moutons (Saint-Fiacre), Le Clos Joubert, Le Moulin ?de la Gustais, Le Clos du Pégatine and many others.
We are keen to manage our vine along environmentally friendly principles (no chemical fertilizers, with yield control and grape picking entirely by hand), and subscribe to the Terra Vitis method based on a sustainable wine growing approach.
