Description

Details of wine

Eric Laguerre takes the reins of the family business in 1999 when he changes the production method by reducing the yield of life in favor of higher quality.
Together with this decision he adopts an approach to eco-sustainable production, in which chemical fertilizers are banned in favor of organic compounds.
These are the first steps that will lead the winery to produce Ecocert certified wines.

Among these we find the Côtes du Roussillon Blanc Le Ciste 2016, a white obtained from organic marsanne, roussanne, rolle, grenache blanc and maccabeu grapes harvested by hand, gently pressed and then fermented and then aged in barrique.

A white that finds a perfect balance between minerality and flavor.

Color

Giallo paglierino.

Smell

Name: Domaine Laguerre

In 1999 Eric Laguerre took over the family domaine, breaking with tradition by reducing grape yields in favour of quality, rather thatn quantity. Chemical fertilizers and weedkillers were eliminated in favour of orfanic composts and compost teas. These benefit the life of the soil, preserving soil strucutre and minimising soil erosion which is important on what are often steeply sloping, sun-kissed vineyards.
