Description
The Ciste Rouge of Domaine Laguerre was born in a territory that in 1999 Eric Laguerre decided to convert to organic. The Ciste Rouge is obtained from Syrah, Grenache, Carignano and Mourvedre. The result is a red wine that develops a complex nose of delicate aromas of undergrowth, leather and dried fruit. A silky, full-bodied and well-developed cuvée. We recommend decanting before serving. This wine should be served with meat in sauce, seafood (shrimp, shellfish, etc.) and boiled meat.
Rosso rubino.
Sensazioni fruttate profonde, impreziosite da tocchi di grafite e accenni al cacao.
Ampio e fasciante, di buona struttura, con un sorso affascinante, che ammalia il palato grazie a una trama tannica levigata.

In 1999 Eric Laguerre took over the family domaine, breaking with tradition by reducing grape yields in favour of quality, rather thatn quantity. Chemical fertilizers and weedkillers were eliminated in favour of orfanic composts and compost teas. These benefit the life of the soil, preserving soil strucutre and minimising soil erosion which is important on what are often steeply sloping, sun-kissed vineyards.
