description
The Domaine Zind Humbrecht has always been one of the most productive and well-known realities of French biodynamic agriculture. The offer of its products is wide, varied and expansive of the tradition that places respect for the earth at the center of its work. This Clos Saint Urbain Rangen de Thann 2010 deserves a relevant place, a wine with an intense golden color, a very floral nose with notes of honey, apricot honey, clementine, minerals.
In the mouth it is light in body but with a uniform minerality with a high acidity followed by a medium-length mineral-type finish. Aperitifs are ideal occasions to taste it, along with fish dinners, cheeses and white meats.
Colore dorato.

The Domaine Zind-Humbrecht has been created in 1959 by the union of the family owned properties of Zénon Humbrecht, winegrower at Gueberschwihr and of Emile Zind, winegrower in Wintzenheim. Before this date each of our families were producing and selling their wines under their own name. Winegrower from father to son since the Thirty Years war in Europe (1620) the Humbrecht family has long winemaking traditions. Today Léonard and Ginette, as well, as Olivier and Margaret Humbrecht are working together at the Domaine. Chanoine Barth, historian of Alsace wines, recalls that the Humbrecht family was already renting vineyards from the Abbaye of Marbach, near Gueberschwihr, in the 18th century. However, we only started to bottle our wines in 1947. Since then, we have only produced grapes from our own vineyards, making the wine and selling it under our own label. Today the Domaine Zind-Humbrecht has 40 hectares of vineyards located in five different villages in the Haut- Rhin.
