Domìni Veneti is the emblem of the quality wines of the Classic Valpolicella and Veronese. It represents the most authentic expression of a territory well defined from a geographical and historical point of view.
Starting in 1968, the "Valpolicella Classica del vino" was designated as the production area for Valpolicella Doc wines, a territorial area that includes the Municipalities of Historical and Geographical Valpolicella. The Classic mention distinguishes the historic area from the so-called "enlarged" area, which includes the territories east of Verona.
An organic Amarone Docg, made from grapes from the Valpolicella Classica, dried in the fruit cellar and aged in large barrels for at least 18 months and in the bottle for 6-8 months.
Domìni Veneti's Amarone Bio has an intense and persistent aroma, which recalls black cherries in alcohol, dried plum and spices. The flavor denotes structure and decisive softness, which balances the velvety tannins. This organic red is the ideal accompaniment for full-bodied second courses: game, grilled meat, braised meats and aged cheeses

Grande intensità e persistenza con profumi eterei, note di amarena sotto spirito e prugna secca, fiori secchi e spezie.

Taste

Denota una struttura decisa ma comunque morbido assimene ad una vellutata tannicità.

Si abbina tradizionalmente a selvaggina, carne alla brace, brasati e formaggi stagionati. Accompagna ottimamente la conversazione a fine pasto e la meditazione.

The mission of the Cantina Valpolicella Negrar is still now to increase the value of itsmembers activity,producing excellent wines and promoting culture and knowledge of viticulture and oenology. Today the company advises and coordinate the activity of around200 grape growers, across a total of 500 hectares, all located on the hillsides of the Valpolicella Classico region to the north west of Verona. Growers are encouraged to cultivate their vines with maximum respect for the naturalenvironment and to safeguard biodiversity. The Cantina and its members have also been able to work together to identify sites suitable for single vineyard wines and to produce special selections and even individual “cru” wines. Experience gained over many years has allowed us to use our winemaking skills t develop a range of various Amarone, Reciotos and Valpolicellas. Historically the winery has also worked hand in hand with growers in other famous viticultural zones near Verona, which allows the Cantina to offer other high quality wines such as Soave, Bianco di Custoza and Bardolino. Total production of the Cantina is today over 8 millions bottles per year, obtained by more than 60.000 quintals (13 million lb.) grapes. The winery has a total capacity for oak ageing of around 12.000 hl.
