Enrico Gatti's is a winery in Franciacorta that aims to create wines that tell the territory, through sustainable agriculture, banishing the use of pesticides and herbicides.
Everything starts from the vineyard, here the characteristics that we will find in the wine are outlined, here the work of man is to accompany the growth of the vine in a natural way by constantly monitoring each stage of processing.
The vineyard will respond by donating a wine every year that does not necessarily have to look like last year, but must include all the qualities matured during its life cycle.

Franciacorta Brut is obtained from the soft pressing of Chardonnay grapes from vineyards located in the foothills area.
Perhaps the wine that most expresses the personality of the company.

A Franciacorta with a good balance between flavor and freshness.

Colore giallo dorato brillante, molto trasparente

Smell

Al naso esprime aromi intensi, puliti, gradevoli e raffinati che si aprono con note di lievito e nocciola seguite da aromi di banana, ananas, biancospino, pompelmo, susina, mela, miele e crosta di pane.

Taste

In bocca ha buona corrispondenza con il naso, un attacco effervescente e fresco, comunque equilibrato dall'alcol, buon corpo, sapori intensi, piacevole. Il finale è persistente con ricordi di susina, pompelmo e nocciola.

Pairings

Ottimo con pasta ripiena, pesce arrosto, carne bianca, zuppe di pesce e funghi.

WINEMAKING All'arrivo in cantina avviene una soffice pressatura dell'uva intera con pressa pneumatica. Illimpidimento del mosto con enzimi. La fermentazione è avviata con l'aggiunta di lieviti selezionati. La temperatura di fermentazione non supera i 19°C. Maturazione in acciaio per sei mesi.

A family owned business who improved with age with the aim to stand out in the reserch of top quality. In 1975 Enrico Gatti, joined after some years by son Lorenzo Gatti, daughter Paola Gatti and her husband Enzo Balzarini, gave life to this winery. The firm started growing with a cellar enlargement and the acquiring of new vineyards. With a strong passion and total commitment this family produces, harvest by harvest, wines that are able to express local tradition.
