Nathalie Falmet, after graduating in oenology in 1993, experiences various experiences at some large houses until he realizes that she needs to produce her Champagne. It has the great advantage of having family vineyards in Rouvres les Vignes, a resort located in the southern part of the Champagne region known as the Côte de Bar, which enhances and expands. They take the first bottles to life. Nathalie was one of the first women in the region to have obtained a degree in oenology, which allows him to take care of all the production steps from the vineyard to bottling. She is an elegant and sophisticated winemaker who prefers tailor and stiletto heels to work uniforms. Its way of life and its character are reflected in the company's management and, of course, in the Champagne: a vineyard cared for as a garden, conducted in an integrated battle mode, and in a wine cellar with precise vinification in strict compliance with oenological parameters. In the 3.5 hectares of vines 2.5 are reserved for chardonnay, while the rest is divided equally between pinot noir and pinot meunier, which sink the roots into the typical calcareous soil of the area known as "Kimmeridgiano". Experimentation in the cellar has led Nathalie to choose unusual materials, such as the terracotta pots produced in Tuscany, containers that can provide micro oxygenations without affecting the varietal characteristics of the grapes. Nathalie Champagne is the result of the combination of three of his passions: physics, chemistry and taste for beautiful things. She seeks balance, power, elegance and the expression of terroir in her wines. The range is of a high standard and includes an interesting Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs called "Terra", to recall the terracotta containers in which vinification takes place. The Nathalie Falmet Champagne are refined and pure, punctual in style and delightfully pleasing.
