Details of wine
After a long absence, Fattoria Zerbina proposes a rosé: vinified in the 80s, starting from the 2016 vintage it is brought back into vogue with a more dynamic, fresh and in line with the style of the wines, oriented towards the pure fruit, the floral element and freshness.
A wine characterized by an intriguing and complex mix in which Sangiovese, with good structure and acidity, is joined by Syrah which gives the wine a certain exuberance.
Each creation of Fattoria Zerbina is born from the deep bond with its land, from listening to the hidden language of its vines, which finds voice and expression through sensitivity, instinct and passion. Only then does the earth become wine. And it becomes a work of art.

Clearly the finest wine estate in Romagna is Fattoria Zerbina where the dynamic and energetic Cristina Geminiani has taken her familys estate to the peak of winemaking excellence. Cristina is working tirelessly to change this situation and spends a significant amount of time on the road crusading for not only her wines, but those of Romagnas other top producers. After graduating with a degree in agriculture from the University of Milan, Cristinas passion for the great sweet wines of Sauternes led her to continue her studies at the University of Bordeaux. Then after a stint with famed enologist Vittorio Fiore she began her personal quest to make great wines at Fattoria Zerbina. Cristina describes her winemaking philosophy in this way, In my winemaking I aim to complete and integrate each of the values of each single vineyard, fully respecting the high potential of the fruit from each special area. Only by releasing the pure character of the vines in each microclimate can we show the real value and richness of our terroir.
