Description
The Fento Wines winery is a young project, born in 2012, with the aim of producing Galician wines with the utmost respect for the natural environment and tradition.
Ribeira Sacra is a magical place where you have to go at least once to savor smells and enjoy the fantastic landscapes.
Here the Xabre of Fento Wines is born from a blend of Ribeira Sacra, Mencía, Sousón, Mouratón and Garnacha Tintorera. The vines from which they come have a maximum age of 80 years and wind on beautiful natural terraces.
A wine that ages 10 months in French oak barrels from which it takes all the persistence that will characterize it.
A wine with a great personality given to it by the Mencía grape variety which blends with the minerality typical of the terroir
Rosso rubino profondo.
Sentori di frutta rossa matura, spezie.
E' fresco, di buon corpo e buona acidità, tannini maturi e buona persistenza finale.
Le carni bianche alla griglia e i formaggi di capra si sposano divinamentre con questo vino.

Fento Wines was created in August of 2012. It is a young, family winery producing wines that reflect the strength of the grapes and their nuances, but that comes with a new and innovative company. A personal enterprise combining natural wine growing with new techniques. In relation to viticulture, the company works with a variety of local grapes Rias Baixas, giving great weight to considerations of grape-land-atmosphere-winemaker. In Galicia, the screws are in the south of Pontevedra, in the Condado de Tea area. The grapes are planted in the ground "Xabre", a popular name that indicates the sandy granite soil. The white varieties are Albariño, Treixadura, Loureiro, Godello and Torrontés; the reds are represented by Suson, Espadeiro and Pedral. The harvest is carried out by hand with the selection of the bunches carried out on the plant, the alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.
