The adventure of Antonio and Monica Moretti in this nature: exuberant, exaggerated and baroque, begins in 2000 with the first purchases. Bushel after bushel, I'm able to build one of the most important companies of the island (Sicily) putting together the land of over fifty different properties fragmented for centuries. In the shadow of the Cathedral of Noto, with Carlo Ferrini and Gioia Cresti, that are winemakers but also father and daughter, begin the fascinating and rigorous work of recovery of the past. The heart is Maccari with about 77 of new rows adjacent to about 50 rows of vineyards that have already done thirty to sixty harvests, every day on the sunlight. The different types of soils, blacks and sandy or white and calcareous, differences in height and exposure, everything seems specifically designed to encourage the creation of complex wines and allow to balance the different trends in vegetative plants.
