description
The name of this winery derives from that of an ancient water source that gushed out where the vineyards grow today.
We are in the Marches where the land meets the sea, where the vineyards find the right climatic balance to experience all the peculiarities of the territory.
All the steps that take place in the cellar are precise and respectful of the times, with refinements that take place only in the best woods, ideal for enriching the complexity of each type, while preserving, at the same time, the varietal traits of departure.
The Cantina Fontezoppa offers us the Passerina Jaja, a simple white, unpretentious but with great drinkability. Coming from an autochthonous grape variety from the Marche region which originates on clayey and calcareous soils under organic cultivation. Vinification and aging in steel tanks to preserve its characteristic freshness.
A wine that is always a pleasure to find it at the table.
Giallo paglierino cristallino.

Fontezoppa is the name of an ancient water source that flowed where now chase the rows of vines. Everything in the Marche region has a name, valleys, ditches, fields and alleys; sign of human passage and an intense relationship with the land. Right from the earth we must begin to tell the story of Fontezoppa Cellars. A variety of grapes delivered to ancient techniques and expert hands meets here the generosity of the land and the air goodness. The result is a wine with a strong personality, the product of green hills overlooking the sea now, now to the mountains. A Civitanova Alta and in Serrapetrona has found the right balance between climate and richness of the soil, so it is in the space between the Adriatic Sea and the Blue Mountains that Fontezoppa Cellars grow and mature their best wines. Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet, Tear, but also Maceratino, Crossing Bruni, Pecorino are the vines planted around Civitanova Alta, under the beneficent influence of the sea. The slopes of the Blue Mountains are located instead of the Vernaccia Nera plants, Pinot Noir and Sangiovese. Serrapetrona has always been the land of the Vernaccia, a grape of ancient spiciness able to draw the attention of the national wine scene and today the center of rediscoveries and experiments. It is in partnership with the land that is hidden the secret of good wine, an alliance
