description
Details of wine
Podere Fornacella is a small family-run company located in the province of Siena, the land where one of the most important wines in the world is born, namely Brunello di Montalcino.
A reality managed by the Ciacci family in respect of ancient traditions, producing only two red wines from vineyards grown in Sangiovese Grosso as in the tradition of Montalcino.
The use of Icea certified organic agriculture allows the realization of Rosso di Montalcino in purity that contains all the characteristics of the area.
A Tuscan Classic with good structure and typical hints of Sangiovese.

CELLAR
Name: Fornacella
Winemaker name: Fabrizio Moltard
Address: Montalcino (SI)
The Fornacella farm is managed by Marco Ciacci with the help of the wine consultant Fabrizio Moltard. Marco, combining his rural knowledge, following the seasonal cycles of nature and with the help of modern techniques, manages to produce wines that reflect the territory, authentic and frank. Its vineyards, all bred with Sangiovese Grosso as the tradition of Montalcino wants, are located at 300 meters above sea level and enjoy the best pedo climatic conditions. and the same care is placed in the cellar where for each vintage the most appropriate winemaking method is sought so as to have wines that totally reflect the vintage, also for this reason their productions are always very limited. Two wines are produced, the Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino with an excellent aging potential.
