description
The domaine Gadais Père et Fils is ideally located between the Sevre and the Maine, in the locality of Saint Fiacre. Here the young Pierre Henri, a talented vigneron, is establishing himself with his sustainable production that winks at the organic one.
Proof of its potential is this splendid Muscadet Sèvres et Maine sur Lie obtained with the Melon de Bourgogne grape which gives the wine an incomparable minerality.
A Muscadet in which we find the sea salt and the splashes of the ocean, together with the scent of pear eroded from the orchard that borders the vineyard.
After a slow fermentation of 2 weeks with mother yeast, the wine is refined on the fine lees of vinification until spring and bottled after a light filtration.
One of the most successful interpretations of Muscadet.
Estremamente pallido, quasi un bianco acquoso.
Al naso profumo di gesso bagnato e sentori di limone.
In bocca sapori di frutta croccante, melone e agrumi.
Ottimo con pesce alla griglia ed aperitivi.

In 1952, Louis Gadais began selling his wine in the bottle and was considered a pioneer in the field. Today, driven by Christophe Gadais, who served a long apprenticeship both abroad and in the Sancerre region, the company has taken on a whole new dimension. The 47 hectares of the estate, divided into 120 lots, receive minimal chemical treatments. To protect the microbial life of the soil, the copper treatments are no longer used, replaced by the use of manure.
