Description
Gonet Sulcova is a Maison, Récoltant Manipulant, in the center of Epernay run by the brothers Yan and Karla Gonet.
This their cuvée and the entrance ticket to their splendid world.
Obtained from the assembly of 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir, both from the 2009 vintage combined with a percentage of reserve wines from the 2008 vintage.
Alcoholic fermentation is carried out in steel. Vinification is carried out using malolactic fermentation.
24 months of stay on the lees and at least 3 months of rest after the dégorgement.
Bel giallo paglierino carico.

At the beginning of the 20th century, Charles Gonet originally from Vertus, moved to Le Mesnil sur Oger for his wedding, his wife being from Oger. Together they had 2 children, including Jacques, with whom they established and developed the Côte des Blancs vineyard. The Cuvée de Montgueux (100% Chardonnay) is now dedicated to them. Perfectly imbued with the winegrowers' know-how, Vincent the grandson continues the tradition with his wife Davy Sulcova. In 1985, they set up their headquarters in the very heart of the Champagne capital, Epernay. Together, the couple created a name: Gonet Sulcova; and created a range of champagne cuvées around a meal. Vincent is in charge of winemaking in Epernay and marketing, while Davy manages the work in the vineyard. Today, the fourth generation has joined them. Their children, Karla and Yan-Alexandre, now share the tasks.
