Details of wine

The history of the Goisot estate dates back to the 14th century and finds its home in the heart of northern Burgundy in the Yonne department.

In 1979 Ghislaine and Jean-Hugues take over the family business and start their production which will have respect for the land as its basic principle. This philosophy will lead in 2001 and 2005 to the awarding of the Ecocert organic certification and the Demeter biodynamic certification.

All wines are produced with respect for the environment with numerous manual steps that allow you to select only the best clusters, using 100% natural products and banning each chemical element.
Depending on the terroir and the age of the vines, vinification in barrels or in tanks is chosen, while bottling takes place after nine or eighteen months of aging.

Bourgogne Cotes d'Auxerre Gondonne 2017 is a white wine that comes from Chardonnay in purity, elegant and fine.

We could call it an example of the class of these lands.

Our family estate has its origins since the 14th century and is located in the wine village of Saint Bris le Vineux since the Middle Ages; it is surrounded by Irancy, Chablis and Auxerre. In the heart of the vineyards of northern Burgundy in the department of Yonne (less than two hours from Paris), the estate covers 30 hectares and includes the municipalities of Saint-Bris, Irancy and Chablis. In 1979 we founded the family business and we always wanted to pay attention to the land. After adopting the organic farming method for many years, we have obtained an ECOCERT certification since 2001. In 2005, our son Guilhem and his wife Marie, who have the same respect for the land, join the company, which was awarded the same year by DEMETER for biodynamic certification. For many years, we have worked on vineyards in the respect of denominations, consumers, people who work for the estate and, of course, the environment with a know-how that combines tradition and modernism.
