Description

Details of wine

La Felce is a small Ligurian company where wine is produced as it once was, with passion, dedication and using certified organic cultivation to protect the environment and territory.

Andrea Marcesini, at the helm of this company, is one of those winemakers who does not allow himself to be trapped in predefined specifications but wants to create wines that are always different from year to year but characterized by a strong territoriality.

FelceRosso is a direct wine without surprises that shows itself as it is and how it will be from the first sip. A red obtained from Sangiovese, Massaretta, Canaiolo and Merlot grapes organically grown and coming from old vineyards.

A simple, tasty and extremely versatile wine.

La Felce is a family-run winery in Lunigiana known and appreciated even outside the regional borders for the genuineness and quality of its wines. Founded in 1998 by Andrea Marcesini, it is located at the foot of the Ortonovo hills. The vineyard of La Felce extends for 5.5 hectares and is distributed in several plots. The vineyards destined for Vermentino are planted in the hills in the commune of Castelnuovo Magra on clayey soils, while the vineyards reserved for the reds are located on the plains of Ortonovo on sandy-pebbly soils.
