description
Talking about the Cantina La Felce means getting in touch with that category of winemakers who does not follow the fashions of the moment and not even the strict disciplines on the market.
A cellar with more than 50 years of history in which Andrea Marcesini today wants to produce wines with a great personality, year after year different and never the same.
Its public will be represented by people who, in addition to marrying the principles of organic cultivation, are looking for original, territorial and never banal wines.
Monte dei Frati is a pure Vermentino, born from organic grapes not far from the sea, fermented with indigenous yeasts and worked exclusively in steel.
A white that immediately turns into summer, a great interpretation of Vermentino, with great softness and persistence.
Giallo paglierino.
Minerale e mediterraneo, di frutta gialla, agrumi ed erbe aromatiche.
Sapido, fresco e minerale, succoso e persistente.
Un vino ideale con piatti a base di pesce

La Felce is a family-run winery in Lunigiana known and appreciated even outside the regional borders for the genuineness and quality of its wines. Founded in 1998 by Andrea Marcesini, it is located at the foot of the Ortonovo hills. The vineyard of La Felce extends for 5.5 hectares and is distributed in several plots. The vineyards destined for Vermentino are planted in the hills in the commune of Castelnuovo Magra on clayey soils, while the vineyards reserved for the reds are located on the plains of Ortonovo on sandy-pebbly soils.
