Rosso rubino intenso e brillante con raffinati riflessi granata.

Smell

Profumo complesso e pieno di espressioni con attacco di note fruttate fresche ed invitanti, soprattutto piccoli frutti neri di bosco, seguito da sottili sentori speziati dolci ed eleganti suggestioni balsamiche con finale di foglia di tabacco essiccato.

Taste

Tannini lunghi, vivaci ed al tempo stesso setosi, egregiamente sostenuti da un buon livello di freschezza acida, da un volume ampio ed un corpo opulento con un mirabile risultato finale in termini di armonia, integrazione ed equilibrio delle componenti.

Per la complessità tipica di questo brunello si consigliano piatti strutturati, caratteristici della tradizione toscana, a base di carne e cacciagione Eccellente abbinato a formaggi stagionati per un dopo pasto da meditazione.

Il disciplinare di produzione prevede periodo minimo di affinamento in legno di 24 mesi, a La Serena aspettiamo il naturale processo di affinamento che non è mai lo stesso ma in funzione delle uve e dell'annata può raggiungere anche i 30 mesi.
