The splendid hills of Valdobbiadene are the home of Prosecco and many companies that have linked their history to these territories and wines.
At the basis of the company philosophy is the Natural Balance concept, that is, a continuous search for sustainable agriculture from an economic, environmental and social point of view.

Strictly hand-picked harvests, reduced use of sulphites, production with proprietary grapes and use of energy from renewable sources are just some of the elements that contribute to outlining this philosophy and that guarantee wines with a strong territorial character.

One of these is Saomì Brut, a prosecco whose name derives from the appellative silhouettes.
The vines from which this prosecco is obtained are lapped by the Teva torrent and form soil particles called "silhouettes".

The stream carries with it clayey debris, giving the soil unique characteristics that can be found in the labels produced.

Freshness and aromaticity are the two most important characteristics of this wine, together with the persistence and very elegant aftertaste.

Fruttato di mela renetta, note di speziato mediterraneo, vaniglia ed acacia.

Taste

È un vino ben equilibrato, molto fresco, dove gli aromi di frutta sono esaltati da una buona vivacità. Persistente e con un retrogusto elegante.

Pairings

Ideale come aperitivo, si accompagna perfettamente anche a pranzi e cene formali, soprattutto con piatti a base di pesce e paste fresche alle verdure.

Our winery was founded on the hills of Valdobbiadene, in the heart of the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG production area, between Venice and the Dolomites. Always with an eye towards innovation, we have never forgotten our bond with our territory and its traditions. Thanks to this respect for this small paradise and the wonderful fruit it gives us, we tend towards an always “greener” wine growing method in harmony with the environment while taking into consideration our past and future generations. Our name comes from a rolling hill in the Cartizze territory. In olden times, there was a bird snare, commonly called “Tordera”, on this hill. In the autumn season, thrushes flew in from the nearby mountains looking for food in the vineyards; this high ground got the Tordera name from this tradition. Even though the snare does not exist anymore, the name has remained with the local people. This is where our family started; this is where La Tordera came to be.
