The initial depth, roundness and glycerine mouthfeel take you into a full, pulpy mid palate and finish again dominated by fruit and spice sweetness.
Opening on black cherry and forest fruits-led fragrances that mingle with flower-like aromatics and very sweet spiciness.
It is recommended for barbecued meat, like sliced Chianina steak, or with game, such as pheasant stuffed with truffles: excellent with mature cheeses.

Vinification Temperature-controlled fermentation (at 26° C; 79° F) lasts for around 10- 14 days, with pumping over in an open vat during the initial phase. This is immediately followed by the malolactic fermentation.
System Cordone speronato e archetto chiantigiano.
Harvest 25th September ? 15th October.
Aging Maturation takes place for six months in traditional 50hl oak casks, and for a further six months in French oak barriques with various degrees of toasting.

Tenuta Lamole di Lamole has a total area of 141 hectares, extending over woodland, vineyards and olive groves. Fifty hectares are planted to vine at elevations of 350-550 metres, most with a southerly aspect in some of the most exciting sites in the Lamole area. Planting densities range from 3,350 vines per hectare in the older vineyards to 5,150 vines per hectare in more recently planted sites, with training systems that include Chianti arched cane and spurred cordon, as well as one or two experimental vineyards that still have Chianti bush-training. Effort in the vineyard and cellar strives to bring out the sensory profile of the grapes so special attention is focused on several critical points.
