Description

Details of wine

Val Luretta is located in the Piacenza hills and it is here that Felice Salamini and his family decide to found their company. A winery that introduces in a territory where the Charmat method was traditionally used, the use of the Classic method appreciated by Felice during his French experiences.

The cultivation used has always been natural, so as not to stress the plant and guarantee high quality grapes. For this reason the company adopts a certified organic cultivation regime, using winemaking techniques that adapt to the characteristics of the different vintages.

Luretta Selin Dl'Armari derives from the most widespread grape variety in the world, namely Chardonnay, obtained from organic grapes harvested by hand and left to grow and refine forever in oak barrels that transmit the sweetish and spicy flavors with which it distinguishes itself.

A Chardonnay able to maintain its characteristics over time and perfect ambassador of the Bio philosophy of this company.

The history of the Luretta winery is first of all the story of a great personal ambition carried out by Felice Salamini who, at the end of the eighties, made the great leap from cattle breeder to winemaker and wine producer. As the location of the challenge he chose the area of the Luretta Valley, located on the foothills of the Apennines of Piacenza, and his victory was to have transformed a territory not really renowned for its wine production in a forge of excellent wines. Over the years, Felice and his descendants have demonstrated their mastery of the most disparate winemaking techniques, giving rise to a varied collection of labels that also includes sparkling wines of Classical Method of considerable level.
