Description

Details of wine

The Marangoni company with its wine "Tre Campane" manages to give life to a wine of great depth. Harmony and balance are the peculiarities that this Lugana DOC expresses in the glass.
On the nose we have fine and complex aromas, characterized by floral and fruity notes in which we especially recognize citrus fruits. On the palate it is medium-bodied, balanced between alcohol and acidity, fresh and characterized by a mineral flavor that in the end gives a hint of bitter almond.

The Marangona was the bell that marked the carpenters' working hours, and in Pozzolengo it used to hang from the Corte Marangona, a farmhouse from the seventeenth century in which, since 1973, the winery of the same name has been operating. Now in its third generation, the winery concentrates on the production of Lugana, offering different versions: among these we like to mention the selection, the Lugana Classico Tre Campane, the Lugana Vendemmia Tardiva Rabbiosa, with November harvest of partly botrytized grapes, and the Lugana Cemento, clear reference to the container in which fermentation with maceration takes place
