Description
The Domaine Oratoire de Saint Martin has been present in the Rhone Valley for over 300 years, representing one of the most important and traditional productions of the wines of this region.
The Alary brothers took over the company in 1984, continuing the wine tradition, but converting it to organic farming. The excellent results will continue under the banner of eco-sustainable production and always a profound expression of the splendid territory on which the vines are cultivated.
Witness of the quality of this production is Les Douyes 2017, obtained from the oldest vineyards of the estate, from which it takes its name and in which the Grenache is grown, which together with Mourvèdre makes up the blend of this wine.
An out of the ordinary red, with a great aging potential and a powerful structure.
Rosso granato profondo con riflessi violacei.
Ricco e potente, trasuda aromi di frutti neri, spezie, cuoio e liquirizia.
Denso e concentrato, offre una bella sostanza con tannini dolci. L'espressione aromatica è dominata da aromi di mora, prugna, fico, liquirizia e cuoio. Il finale di questo vino è persistente.
Ottimo con l'agnello e selvaggina

Since André Alary in 1692, ten generations of grape growers from one to the next for over 300 years have worked on the same vineyard. Frédéric and François Alary have taken over the farm in 1984 and work 25 hectares on the Saint Martin hillsides including the oratoire, built in the middle of the vineyard, which gave its name to the estate.
