Grazie alle sue caratteristiche si configura come habitat ideale per l'allevamento di numerose varietà di vite sia a bacca rossa che a bacca bianca e diviene per noi suolo perfetto per la coltivazione del Syrah e del Nero d'Avola, utilizzato, oltre che in purezza, anche in blend per l'Orestiadi Ludovico, vino dedicato a Ludovico Corrao e fiore all'occhiello della cantina. |

In Sicily, island with a long-standing wine growing tradition, there are the Tenute Orestiadis vineyard, borned in Gibellina by a wine growers cooperative and the Orestiadi Foundation, one of the most important cultural institutions in the Mediterranean region, to promote the identity of Sicilian indigenous grapes through the union of art and wine. Tenute Orestiadi is an ancient name that evokes distant myths and legends, that in fact amidst these lands found life thanks to Aeschylus, that more than twenty centuries ago wrote and brought to the stage the legend of ORESTES and of the ORESTIADI.
