Description

Details of wine

The Polvanera company was born Acquaviva delle Fonti and Gioia del Colle, immersed in a unique and strategic landscape from a tourist point of view.

Certified organic production made in the traditional way, it has one of the most used grape varieties in Primitivo.

Moscato Secco IGT comes from white muscat grapes from the Marchesana vineyard, in Gioia del Colle, and from the Macchia di Gatto vineyard, in Casamassima, on a red ferrous soil with a layer of limestone rock below.

The grapes are harvested in the first week of September, subjected to soft pressing and left to macerate in the press for 2/3 hours. Then the must spends twenty days fermenting in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 13 ° C and five months of aging, three of which in stainless steel tanks and two in the bottle.

Moscato Secco IGT is appreciated for its minerality and typical freshness.
