The symbolic wine of the area where the Querciabella winery is located is the Chianti obtained from Sangiovese grapes.
The grapes used to make this wine are collected from different particles with different micro-climatic characteristics and with different subsoil formations. The average heights of the vineyards range from 350 to 550 meters above sea level. The possibility of enjoying special breezes that caress the hills of this area, the ability in the vineyard and the essential practices in the cellar make this wine extremely fine and elegant. It proceeds with spontaneous fermentation and aging for no more than 12 months in barriques and tonneaux to then be put on the market. the wine from the very first taste presents as an elegant interweaving of the different areas where the grapes come from. It has great finesse, distinct minerality and freshness.

Querciabella presently produces four wines from the vineyards of its Chianti Classico estate in Greve in Chianti. Batàr is a blend of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay; Camartina is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese; Palafreno is a monovarietal Merlot, while Querciabella is a Chianti Classico DOCG. Mongrana, a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, was the first wine to be released from Querciabellas Alberese (Maremma) estate. Querciabella is planning to introduce more wines from this region in the near future.
