  1. Domaine de la Vieille Julienne Chateauneuf du Pape Rouge Les Hauts Lieux 2012
    Format 0,75 L Standard
    Alcol 15.50%
Wine zones Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Counoise
    Vintage 2012
    Classification AOC Châteauneuf du Pape
More firm and backwards, the Châteauneuf du Pape Les Hauts Lieux is a longer-term prospect. Big minerality, dark fruits, iron, steel and licorice all emerge from the glass. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, edgy and concentrated, with building tannin. Give this beauty 4-5 years in the cellar and enjoy for next 20 years. It should be one of the longest lived efforts in the vintage.

  3. Domaine de la Vieille Julienne Chateauneuf du Pape Rouge Les Trois Sources 2012
    Format 0,75 L Standard
    Alcol 15.50%
Wine zones Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Counoise
    Vintage 2012
    Classification AOC Châteauneuf du Pape
While I normally find the Les Hauts Lieux more compelling, in this vintage I prefer the Châteauneuf du Pape Les Trois Sources. Gorgeously perfumed and voluptuous, with fabulous blackberry, licorice, citron, salty minerality and hints of violet, this beauty flows onto the palate with full-bodied richness, building tannin and terrific length. The texture here is brilliant, and while it will benefit from 2-4 years in the cellar, this puppy is hard to resist now.

  4. Yann Chave Crozes Hermitage Rouge 2016
    Format 0,75 L Standard
    Vintage 2016
    Classification AOC Crozes-Hermitage
This wine is the backbone of the Estate, and is built around the three main identities of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation: La Roche de Glun, Mercurol and Pont de l'Isère. From this spectrum of plots of Syrah, the wine reflects the identity of the vintage, in the true spirit of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation: fruit, brilliance, elegance... what else!

  5. Yann Chave Crozes Hermitage Rouge Le Rouvre 2016
    Format 0,75 L Standard
    Vintage 2016
    Classification AOC Crozes-Hermitage
On the Chassis terraces, the former Rhône river bed has deposited a layer of river pebbles, marking the identity of the terroir and emblematic of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. My Syrah have been growing here happily for over 50 years. For Le Rouvre, I select plots where the grapes produce deep, perfectly velvety tannins, for a wine with a marked identity and optimal ageing qualities.

    Alcol 14.00%
Wine zones 5% Syrah, 80% Grenache, 15% Mourvedre
    Vintage 2013
    Classification AOC Châteauneuf du Pape
To offer this Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes, Janasse's land seemed to be the best of the denomination from the land that meets the characteristics of the region. Wine grapes are available in 4 different lots on different soil types, from the pebbles in the terroir, but also from the red and limestone slopes of the particle. This careful research led Domaine owners to associate this Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes with 3 emblematic varieties of domain and appellation: Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. With screws aged between 60 and 100 years, the result is the effort and complexity of these selections and is found in an elegant wine with great fineness.
