Rolly Gassman represents a pioneer winery in biodynamic cultivation in Alsace, whose vineyards cover an area of ??about 50 hectares divided between the municipalities of Rorschwirhr and Bergheim.

Pierre Gassman promotes mainly manual processing with low yields capable of preserving all the characteristics of the terroir. Its wines are appreciated for the perfect balance between acidity and sweetness.

Among these we find Pinot Blanc, born from manual harvest and fermentation in the tank with indigenous yeasts. After fermentation the wine is bottled and left to rest for 2 years.

A splendid white that manages to balance the acidity with the sweetness of the fruit flavors, destined to age even 10 years while maintaining all its magnificent qualities.

Vellutato e morbido. Offre aromi e sapori di albicocca, pera, arancia, pompelmo e marzapane.

COLLECTED Raccolto a maturazione ottimale, viene da una selezione fatta a mano.

GROUND Terreno di calcare, marne e argilla.
REFINEMENT Una volta che la fermentazione è completata, solitamente dopo un paio di mesi, il vino viene lasciato riposare e successivamente imbottigliato entro 11 mesi dalla vendemmia. Le bottiglie vengono poi poste a riposo per un paio di anni prima della commercializzazione.
WINEMAKING Le uve vengono portate in cantina, delicatamente pressate e fermentate in singole vasche con piccole aggiunte di lieviti indigeni. Ogni vigneto ha il suo serbatoio di fermentazione e viene vinificato separatamente.

Rolly Gassmann is based in the small village of Rorschwirhr, in the northernmost part of the Upper Rhine Department in Alsace. The property, of about 50 hectares of vineyards, divided between the communes of Rorschwirhr and Bergheim, allows you to act on a unique variety of soils: clay, sand, limestone and granite alternate in this area creating wines with a strong and decisive character. The winery is now run by Marie-Thérèse, Loius and their son Pierre Gassmann. The production is about 300000 bottles per year, only 20% of which are destined for export outside France. The wines are powerful, precise, played on the difficult ridge of a vibrant acidity and sweetness always calibrated: Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewurztraminer by Rolly-Gassmann give pure enjoyment especially to those who have the patience to wait for the legendary ability to evolve in the bottle.
