A company with more than 50 years of history and today the third generation that has increasingly turned towards a production based on respect for the ecosystem.
Use of energy from renewable sources, mainly hand-made processes and zoning of the vineyards are elements that promote the environmental sustainability conducted by this winery.

The workhorse of the Vignaioli Specogna company is this white wine called "Identità" which comes from native Friuli grapes and which best represents the productive potential of this area, namely Tocai Friulano, Malvasia Istriana and Ribolla Gialla.

Hand-made harvest, followed by a soft pressing, fermentation with indigenous yeasts in oak tonneaux, aging in cask and after 1 year in steel where it rests for 6 months.

A living that we could define as the Friuli manifesto.



Giallo intenso con leggeri riflessi verdi.


Dolce, ampio, speziato con spiccate caratteristiche varietali; con sentori di agrumi, mandorla, mallo di noce, frutta esotica e richiami di pesca a polpa bianca, salvia e pepe bianco.


Vino potente, strutturato, con buona acidità ed armonica complessità fruttata e speziata; il tipico retrogusto di mandorla e frutta esotica è molto persistente.

COLLECTED Vendemmia a mano in cassette da 10 kg. Questo vino è un vero e proprio uvaggio in quanto le uve dei diversi vitigni vengono raccolte contemporaneamente. Diraspa-Pigiatura soffice e raffreddamento immediato a 7-8 °C.

REFINEMENT In seguito il vino affina in botti da rovere da 1500 litri per 12 mesi. Dopo un anno il vino viene posto in vasche d' acciaio dove riposa per 6 mesi. Dopo 18 mesi totali, avviene quindi l'imbottigliamento. Il vino riposa in bottiglia per 3 mesi prima della commercializzazione.
WINEMAKING 24 ore di macerazione sulle bucce. Svinatura e fermentazione (con lieviti indigeni) in tonneaux di rovere da 500 litri.

In 1963 Leonardo Specogna, after residing in Switzerland as an emigrant for some years (typical situation for the people of the Friuli region in those years), went back to Friuli Venezia Giulia and bought a small plot of land on the hills of Rocca Bernarda in Corno di Rosazzo, in the heart of the vineyards in Friuli. These lands have always been devoted to oenology and here the plant of the vine has found the best conditions since Roman times, thanks to the fact that in this oriental strip of land of our region the climate and the soil have features that are unique and exceptional for winemaking. That was the origin of it… It all started with a 360-degree company that covered many aspects of the production for private consumption: dairy, cereal and wine production. Later, when Graziano and his wife Anna Maria started working in the company, the management techniques of the vineyards and of the winemaking were improved, making the farm more specifically focused on the winemaking sector. Nowadays, the activity of the company is galvanised by the presence of the third generation of Specogna winemakers Cristian and Michele that long ago have taken the lead of the company. They are granting an important company development trend and an expansion of the sales into the most important international markets, apart from creating, some years ago, another important reality of the Specogna family, that is to say the winery Toblar (www.toblar.it). Therefore, the goal of this family is the generational synergy to guarantee that binomial of tradition and innovation that represents the added value present in each production step. Today our company has an overall surface of 20 hectares, 18 of which are vineyards. We produce more or less 120,000 bottles per year, 50% of which are sold on the national market and 50% in more than 20 countries in the world.
