The Estate of Trinoro started his wine business in 1992. The first production dates back to '95 and the wines are on the market since '97. The company Andrea Franchetti is included in the Val d'Orcia, the southernmost part of Tuscany on the border with Lazio, where the Amiata and Cetona mountain, blocking the climate and sea mists of the Val di Chiana, a dry climate favors , Continental and, for the height, very late: the oak trees lose their green at least a month later than other Italian areas. The vineyards lie between 530 and 600 feet tall, very clayey and calcareous soils rich in minerals. Until the '60s, before the depopulation of the countryside, peasants were made wine here for more than 16 degrees.
